Baby Eleni is less than two weeks old in this images. We spent less than hour of actual shooting. Naked babies get cold (and unhappy) fast so we kept those shooting times to a minimum.

The lenses used were a 105mm VR Macro and 70-200 VRII, wide open with a shallow depth of field. The skin was intentionally processed as-is with no re-touching or smoothing to show a high level of detail. Lighting set-ups include natural light only, then a single remote SB900 and then two remote SB900′s. Light modifiers are a medium strip soft-box and a Honl speedlight grid.
